She's a maniac

The last night we were in NYC, we went out to dinner and Addie finally decided she had had enough being strapped to a high chair. She got very upset so Emily took her outside to calm down. Brian followed and they taught Addie a trick. After dinner,we all went outside and they presented their routine. While Emily sings, they all danced to "She's a maniac". It was by far, the funniest thing I have ever seen! The next morning we practiced some more!

Botanical Gardens

My Aunt Nancy & Aunt Judy came out to visit us in March. My Dad & Donna & Riley came as well for a big family visit. We went to the Desert Botanical Gardens & a Cubs Spring Training Game. My cousins Jon & Jeff drove over from LA too.

New York City

We went to NYC last week to visit Bret & Emily. They live in Brooklyn which is close to the City. We went to Central Park a few times and walked a lot around 5th Ave where Emily works. We took a horse carriage ride around Central Park and played in one of the kid parks there. There is a grand carousel in Central Park and Emily took her on it. She loved it so much that when Emily had to leave for work I took Addie back on it. It was big and very fast! Addie loved Central Park & the subway! She got very excited every time we went down to the subway and always wanted to hold on to the pole like a big girl. Even if she was buckled in her stroller, she would fuss until we moved her close enough to grab the pool. We took Addie to F.A.O. Schwartz and the Disney Store. We braved shopping on Canal Street in China Town and enjoyed a quick trip on the Staten Island Ferry. The weather rained a bit on us, but was mostly beautiful, as evidenced by Brian's t-shirt most days. Addie did amazing in the big city and we had a wonderful time! Thank you Bret & Emily! We will be back!

Addie Dancing at Tortilla Flat

When my Aunts & Dad were here we took a beautiful drive out to a small, old town called Tortilla Flat. It was one of the first (very small) settled towns in Arizona. They had an out door patio w/ a band playing and Addie did her thing and shook her butt, a lot!
